The Frostline packs polyester fill under a plush-velvet shell, then adds a hood and a double-breasted front that overlaps across the chest to seal out wind. It's the jacket you reach for when a light layer won't cut it.
The loose fit leaves room for a thick sweater underneath, and the velvet shell gives it a soft, rich texture that looks a good deal better than a standard nylon puffer.
