The Bloomfield is a one-shoulder maxi dress with the side seam opened into a split. A full-length dress without a slit turns every step into a shuffle; this one moves when you do and shows just enough leg to keep the length from feeling heavy. The asymmetric neckline does the rest.

The polyester holds color well and comes out of a suitcase ready to wear, which makes it an easy pack for a beach trip or a destination wedding. Wear it with flat sandals and a straw bag by day, then switch to strappy heels and gold earrings for the evening.
